Volumes have been said on this subject, and the conflict and discourse about where the "hot" slot machines are placed in the casino are still there – over sixty yrs after slot machines were first placed in casinos.

The quintessential rule is that the better slot games were installed just inside the main doorway of the casino; so that fun seekers passing by would be able to see jackpot winners … be convinced to come into the casino … play. Our viewpoint is that this is no longer the case.
